If you want to play imports, backups or downloaded copies of your own PS2 games then you need Swap Magic. Using Swap Magic is easy: Simply insert the Swap Magic disc, wait for the prompt and then insert your copied disc or imported game.
You will also need either a Slide Card or Slimtool MK2.
The Slide Card is used to open the drawer on V1-V11 PS2 consoles.
The Slimtool MK2 is fitted inside the lid of V12-V16 consoles
There is no invalidation of your guarantee and the Slide Card or Slimtool MK2 can be easily removed at any time and left in place if you choose to play originals
